Zèrius born into a family of 5, him being the youngest, grew up in Atlanta GA. His grandmother on his fathers side having German roots had the most impact on the trajectory of his life, because of her Jewish lineage, and her family's storied journey navigating WWII mixed with his Grandfathers lineage of existing as free Black Americans during the time of slavery being an economic powerhouse in America. This unique familial history oftentimes caused conflict in the stories told by various of family members however it happened to be to his greatest advantage.

The conservative values instilled by his father grandfather, that was learned from the teaches of Frederick Douglas & other family members that understood the complexity of American politics, is what sparked the early involvement & teachings regarding Politics. Coming from a rich tradition of entrepreneurship Zérius naturally gravitated to several ventures from the age of 15, doing apprenticeships, that lead to working within startups of all kinds. This ignited a 23 year career path that has taken him all over the globe.
